| The Granary began life as a granary barn that probably
dates from the earliest days of this farmstead. The central portion
with the peaked roof is the original barn structure. This building
is of post and beam construction with the timber work held in place
by wooden pegs. This structure was converted into its current form
in 1985. To the left is the wing that holds the art studio on the
second floor. To the right is a greenhouse ‘rain forest' garden.
The first floor and central section of the building house the private
quarters for staff. |
