The
Workshop, as we call it, was a woodworking shop in the earliest days of
the IAM Center. However, as the counseling and retreat work expanded and
the use of the wood shop was no longer needed, we decided that the space
could be converted into a very workable counseling and movement space.
So, Thanksgiving of 1988, the space was re-modeled into its current form
which we call the Workshop.
With its cathedral ceiling and broadness of space,
it serves as Jack's counseling office as well as a movement space
on workshops and group weekends. Hanging on the walls are watercolors
by Fred that give it a lively and colorful mien. |

The Workshop sits above the gardens, itself surrounded by landscaped terraces.
Not only are there the brilliant colors of the array of flowers,
but directly behind it is the home of the chickens and other poultry
who add their own sparkle of feather and sound to the scene. |
