In addition to our own immediate environment of the farm and complexes of back roads, we are also located near a number of other environments that persons who like the outdoors and outdoor activities would find attractive.

1. We are 10 - 15 miles from different junctions with the Susquehanna River where there is plenty of opportunity for canoeing and fishing.

2. We are located along the historic and scenic Route 6. This is also a State of Pennsylvania designated Bike trail with wide paved shoulders for bicycles.

3. We are only ½ hour from the spectacular World’s End State Park that encompasses almost 60 miles of hiking trails knows as the Loyalsock trail, a wonderful swimming hole beneath a towering cliff in the Loyalsock Creek also known for its trout fishing.

4. We are about an hour East of The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania (Leonard Harrison State Park and Colton Point State Park:

5. We are about 45 minutes from the Ricketts Glen State Park: That park covers over 13,000 scenic acres in three counties with a large boating, fishing and swimming lake with a stream that boasts 22 waterfalls.

6. We are located in Bradford County: near the border of Sullivan County, both counties are well-known for their trout fishing. One such stream is under 2 miles from our farmland. This places us 14 miles from the beautiful Victorian town of Towanda which is located on the scenic Route 6. This makes us a part of the Endless Mountains Heritage Region ‘....the best kept secret of Pennsylvania.’

7. We are also only 1 1/4 hour from Ithaca, N.Y. which is at the southern tip of the middle Finger Lake, Cayuga Lake.
